OR, conversely, RYAN COULD DRESS UP AS GABE! Can you even imagine? Ryan in one of Gabe's ridiculous hats, with his JT bling, his Herpes Rocks! t-shirt, tighter-than-tight jeans and purple hoodie? Ahahahaha! I would never recover from the laughter.
He'd want there to be a snake-charmer element to the circus, for starters. Heee, I think Midtown fans would be even more baffled by Panic as Gabe's post-Midtown career than they are by Cobra Starship *g*.
If it would get Brendon in harem pants, I would be ALL FOR the snake-charmer element! And DUDE, Midtown fans wouldn't know WHAT the hell to make of this Panic! Oh, MAN. This is entertainment!
Though I forsee a mammoth battle between Gabe and Ryan over the incorporation of anything to do with Justin Timberlake into Gabe's outfit ;) (Especially since Ryan was a Backstreet fan...)
Ugh, now I'm imagining epic bitchfights over the relative merits of NSYNC vs. BSB. Spencer's got Ryan's back, but Brendon REALLY likes Chris. He thinks he's hilarious.
But yes, this is my favourite style of AU, a what-if off reality, and you did it *so* well.
